Chrysanthemum grower Fred van Paassen’s ultra modern 5.8 hectare nursery is now even more automated thanks to a new fully automatic sleeve filling machine for cut flowers. This is the first model of machine designed and supplied by Terra International in close co-operation with Van der Windt. It has taken less than a year for the machine go from the drawing board to delivered and fully operational – definitely a sign of a good design concept. The key to this success was the intensive co-operation between and 100% commitment to the project of Fred van Paassen, Nic. Sosef, Terra International and Van der Windt.
