Meatpak paper


Every meat processor wants to make sure its meat is perfectly packed and the quality is guaranteed. Van der Windt offers meat processors and packers a number of concepts, such as the Meatpak concept, that provide a solution for packaging problems. Meatpak is an extremely strong, moisture proof paper specially formulated to prevent the discolouration of meat and meat products.
Meatpak ensures the minimum absorption of meat juices so that the meat remains moist. Fresh meat discolours quickly but Meatpak paper prevents this discolouration and because no discoloured portions of meat have to be cut away Meatpak prevents losses when slicing and that is pure profit.

Van der Windt supplies 'peach' coloured Meatpak paper from stock in two sizes: 400x600mm (70gr/m²) , 350x570mm (45 and 70gr/m²).
Changing the size used from 400x600mm to 70gr/m² 350x570mm can result in a saving of around 20% in kilos and a further saving can be achieved by reducing the thickness of the paper to 45 gram/m² which can result in a saving of 40% in kilos.
