New ‘Enjoy the World’ bio-based drinks cup

Van der Windt Verpakking has introduced a new series of bio-based drinks cups into its range. What makes the 'Enjoy the World' range unique is that the raw materials (corn, PLA and printing inks) are fully compostable. Other products on the market sold as bio-based drinks cups often do not have the correct coating and are printed using harmful inks. With the ‘Enjoy the World' cups we are offering an environmentally-friendly alternative. The ‘Enjoy the World' cups can be recognised by the seedling logo and are certificated in accordance with the DIN CERTCO composting standards.
Van der Windt Verpakking supplies the ‘Enjoy the World' bio-based drinks cup in a hot drinks version (with a PLA coating on one side) and, on request, in a cold drinks version (PLA coating on both sides). Four sizes are available: 150 cc and 200 cc versions with a neutral printing can be supplied from stock, the 180 cc and 300 cc versions are available on request. Printing with an own design is possible for orders of 100,000 or more pieces. Soon the cups will be used during the Dutch Lowlands 2010 festival. |
