Hein van Hemert BV is a production and trading company specialised in the strelitzia (Bird of Paradise flower). The company, which has offices both in the Netherlands and abroad, has been growing strelitzias and pot plants for over 15 years. These flowers and plants are sold via the Dutch auctions and exporters and find their way to consumers in the Netherlands and further afield. To ensure the strelitzias can be transported in perfect condition Olsthoorn, in co-operation with the customer, has developed a range of packaging, including the triangular box. The advantage of the triangular box is that the flowers can be sold in units of six stems rather than 12. The packaging is fitted with an interior and the strelitzia stems are inserted into test-tubes filled with water. This concept offers a better answer to the demands of the Cash and Carry outlets and florists. In addition to the boxes and test-tubes Olsthoorn Verpakkingen also supplies tape and OPP sheets bearing the Hein van Hemert BV logo as well as various other cardboard transport packaging and packaging interior systems made of heavy cardboard. To enhance the company's image even further Hein van Hemert BV, and its associate company Oase Groendecorateurs (www.oasegroendecorateurs.nl), now serve their coffee and tea in cardboard drinking cups printed in their own house style and, naturally, designed and supplied by Olsthoorn. |
