Terra International develops a flower sleeve machine

Terra International develops and manufactures machinery for the ornamental horticulture sector. Following on from the Terra pot plant machine, Terra International, in co-operation with Van der Windt Verpakking, has now developed a new flower sleeve machine. This machine, which uses the sleeve-filling-hopper concept, enables cut flowers to be packed in sleeves automatically. The fully-automatic machine can pack 2200 bouquets an hour and can be supplied with feeder and removal conveyor belts and a weighing unit. Problem-free automatic packaging of cut flowers or pot plants can best be achieved by ensuring the sleeves are of a consistent, very high, quality and are precisely tuned to the packing machine and the product to be packed.
