Van der Windt has added the recently developed Surplus Systems mini folding crate (size: 266x171x105mm) to its range. This mini folding crate has a very effective folding mechanism enabling it to be shipped per 60.000 pieces per truck or shipping container. It also has smooth walls, which means the contents are not damaged and the crate is easy to handle and consumer-friendly. The mini folding crate is suitable for a wide range of products including fresh herbs, mini vegetables, mushrooms, flower bulbs, citrus fruit and grapes and can be re-used. |
| This re-usable aspect is another selling point of this packaging as the consumer, on viewing the crate, will immediately be thinking about alternative ways to use the product around the house; bolt, nuts, screws, clothing pegs, children's toys etc etc. To cover the product to be packed in the mini folding crate, and at the same time promote your product, Van der Windt can also supply an LDPE cover sheet with or without ventilation holes and printed with your logo or company name in up to six colours.
