These days no company can avoid conducting its business in a way that takes mankind, the environment and society into account. At Van der Windt we think accepting our responsibilities in this area is quite simply the normal way to work. Which is why the Van der Windt Group, as part of Clondalkin, follows an active CSR policy. For some years we have been implementing many measures aimed at operating in an environmentally-responsible manner.
We have, for example, included biodegradable packaging in our range, focused on energy-savings in our operating processes and ensured our own lorries are fitted with cleaner engines. But we’re not there yet. The coming years will be years of even more focused on sustainable business operations. Because in many fields there is still a great deal more that can be achieved.
